Alkisah tiba-tiba Bumi didatangi objek misterius yang tersebar di berbagai belahan negara dari luar angkasa. Diyakini bahwa itu adalah alien. Namun maksud kedatangan mereka tidak jelas. Karena objek tersebut bergeming begitu saja. Akhirnya dipanggillah Louise Banks (Amy Adams) seorang ahli bahasa untuk mecoba berkomunikasi dengan alien tersebut. Rupanya tujuan mereka para alien itu sungguh tidak disangka-sangka.

Yang saya suka dari film ini:
+ Idenya bagus!
+ Twist-nya juga oke.
+ Suka dengan aktingnya Amy Adams sebagai Louise yang nggak ambisius tapi tekun.

Yang saya kurang suka dari film ini:
– Jeremy Renner nggak istimewa di film ini
– Alurnya agak membosankan. Sepertinya film ini emang targetnya kelas festival.

Film ini saya tonton di Netflix. Ini trailernya…
